stone pine farm chest

The stone pine chest is around 200 years old and comes from Styria. The wonderful patina of the stone pine wood and the pleasant smell of the wood characterize the chest. This uniform appearance conceals fine, subtle design elements. The two central panels with their slender, elegant arches, the profiled frames with their hallmarks, the corners of the front of the chest with their carved decorations are all evidence of a subtle craftsman. The profiled frame of the lid and the pressed ball feet play along in the same style. The interior continues the exterior and surprises with charming little drawers. The hinges, lock and key blade are original. A solid chest that enchants.
