This piece furniture from the end of the 19th century delights the eye of every observer. On the one hand it is the design, on the other hand the rich, matt-gloss patina of the spruce wood. Let’s take a look at the design: the 16 drawers at the top are the same size, the bottom 4 drawers are significantly larger and are emphasized by a projection. The 16 drawers could originally be locked using the hinged slats on the sides. The keys have been lost. The lock has a rare mechanism, so we have not been able to find matching old keys. Nevertheless, the original design idea remains. The decorative elements are simple, but there and flatter the overall look.
