Holy Mary with Jesus

The crowned Mary with the baby Jesus holding a gilded ball in her hand, symbolizing the world. Even though the sculpture is not very old – 19th/20th century – it is still a valuable object due to its good craftsmanship. The mantle of Mary is a successful carving, the proportions are coherent, the colors and gilding have a pleasant patina. This sculpture has a soothing aura.
