The chest has a gable roof that is connected to the body by a wooden hinge. The entire construction is visible: corner studs into which the boards are inserted, a lid that is fitted into the side rails. The beech chest is around 200 years old. The special feature of this piece of furniture, apart from the construction, is the surface decoration: a simple incised technique contrasted by the red-brown and black surfaces.
