console or work table
The hardwood table is about 150 years old and was originally undoubtedly a work table. This is told by its top full of character with all its cuts. The stability of the table is ensured by the web connection, the feet have a small base to indicate the good stand. The dovetailed drawer has an iron handle. I can imagine the table wonderfully as a console on the wall, or room-centered as a work table or presentation table in a store or restaurant. But why not actually as a dining table?
