archaic chest

This chest fulfills the essence of a container furniture. The six sides of the side trunk are connected with wooden nails and are reinforced by iron fittings. The chest is over 300 years old and comes from Styria. The simplicity in form, the design effect created by the fittings and the rawness of the patina make the chest a modern object.
