This softwood peasant wardrobe dates from the first third of the 19th century. It appeals with its wonderful fillings, fittings, simplicity and size. The cornice and base are clearly defined. The fluted pilaster strips give the cabinet a further fine detail. Back to the decorative fillings: the Biedermeier contours form the frame. They provide the background in which the four-leaf motif can emerge by means of relief carving. A truly distinctive cabinet.
