swivel bench

The unique bench so called swivel bench, also known as a reversible bench, gets its name from its swivel backrest. The armrests are attached to a rotating wooden hinge so that the backrest is mobile. This allows you to sit on either side. The hardwood bench comes from Styria and dates back to the 19th century. It is robust, the mechanism works perfectly and it has a wonderful patina. The finely sawn bars in the backrest lend the bench a sense of lightness. An excellent design!
