The small chest of drawers in softwood is around 200 years old. It has a wonderful provincial character with fine details. These include the two carved decorative strips, which are interrupted in the middle. Then there are the cassettes on the drawers and on the sides. And last but not least, the successful proportions. For the sake of completeness, I would like to mention that the wood on the sides is not quite as smooth as on the front, which underlines the authenticity of a piece of utility furniture.
