The wall cabinet is lovingly painted in bold colors. It stands out thanks to several details, such as the curved door with its curved panel, which features a framed medallion in the center. The year of manufacture – 1787 – is also inscribed on the door. The well-formed cornice, the profiled base, and the slanted pilaster strips are flattering, as is the carved border between the door and the base. The big surprise is inside: three charmingly carved drawers are built into the center. The wrought-iron hinges, lock, key, and key blade are also worth mentioning. The middle wooden part on the back, which has been shaped in one piece with the hanging device, is remarkable because it is clumsy, impetuous, and full of heart.
