This dining table for 6 is made of solid wood and features a simple yet striking design. The hardwood table has post legs stabilized by a wedge-joint construction. The drawer, fitted with an iron ring, can be opened from either side. The base is naturally worn, which is precisely why it stands out in a positive way. The base dates from the early 19th century. Unfortunately, the tabletop was missing. I am extremely pleased with how it turned out in the workshop in terms of size, thickness, grain, and patina. This dining table looks just as good with antique chairs as it does with modern ones. The same goes for its surroundings. Whether it stands in the home of antique lovers or is the only antique piece of furniture in the house or apartment, it will become the beloved centerpiece. Everyone will love its charm and the wonderful tabletop.
