The small painted cabinet stands out with its colors and elegant design. The door is divided into four panels. A profiled strip with a carved decoration runs vertically down the middle. As the door was built in a frame construction, the red inner panels can be three-dimensional. They are painted with the IHS, Mary and stars. IHS stands for “in hoc signum” (in the sign of Jesus) and is to be understood as a sign of blessing. The drawer with the iron ring is a practical and beautiful design idea. The painting, which continues on the sides, was reworked at a later date. The cabinet dates from the 19th century.
