A small wall cabinet of this quality is an exceptionally rare piece of rustic furniture. It was undoubtedly made for a special occasion. The hanging cabinet comes from the Salzkammergut and is dated 1833. Fillings in the pilaster strips, painted fillings in the small door, notch carvings, a curved end board, painted cornice and profile strip, as well as the carved shell are the decorative elements that make up the small wall cabinet.
