austrian antique painted farmhouse cabinet
The painted pine cabinet from Salzburg is dated 1758 in the frieze. The rust-brown-red primer of the cabinet is the carrier for the delicate ornamental-floral painting in beige. The applied profiled multilevel filling frames are adorned with a stylized floral motif. The jointed base has a soft, detailed curve. The profile strips between the body and plinth and the body and frieze structure the cabinet. The frieze is decorated with carved wood appliqués. The profiled wreath forms the conclusion. Inside, the iron bands, the lock, the wooden ledges and the drawers stand out.
