The stool shows its expressive seat shape particularly well in this photo setting. The hardwood has been worked irregularly. We can see from the cross-section that symmetry was not the intention. The pine legs have been pushed through and fixed with a wedge. Detached, stools are modern art objects for me. It’s no coincidence that a British designer is interested in them.
